This may be a technical innovation, a contribution to improving or understanding the economics of wind power, or a contribution to improving the integration of wind power into society \u2013 both in terms of the public acceptance of wind turbines in the landscape and the technical integration into the energy systems of European countries.<\/p><p>Candidates can cover a wide range of scientific disciplines. There are no requirements for a specific education or academic level, age, or number of years in the wind power sector. The most important criterion is that the person has made a unique and continuous contribution to the increased development and exploitation of wind power in Europe.
