P\u00e5 basis af disse fors\u00f8g skrev han \u201cFors\u00f8gsm\u00f8llen\u201d, der i en snes \u00e5r var en international grundbog om vindm\u00f8ller.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times, serif;\">\u00a0I bogen p\u00e5viser la Cour, at m\u00f8ller med vindroser, var en d\u00e5rlig ide, hvis man ville lave elektricitet. Han fandt ud af, at den ideelle m\u00f8lle skulle have s\u00e5 f\u00e5 vinger som praktisk muligt, l\u00f8be hurtigt rundt, og have et aerodynamisk profil, samtidig med at vingernes smig skulle v\u00e6re forbavsende lille. Dette sidste udsagn kan endnu i dag forundre folk, nemlig at vingerne kan g\u00e5 rundt, selv om de st\u00e5r n\u00e6sten vinkelret p\u00e5 vinden. Hvordan kan vinden dog skubbe vingerne rundt under disse omst\u00e6ndigheder? Men det blev klart p\u00e5vist af la Cour, og hans ideelle m\u00f8lle svarer stadig godt til vor tids viden, sk\u00f8nt nye materialer som glasfiber muligg\u00f8r langt mere aerodynamiske profiler end la Cour havde turdet tro p\u00e5.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times, serif;\">M\u00e5lt i forhold til datidens traditionelle g\u00e5rdm\u00f8ller kunne hans ideal-m\u00f8lle lave tre gange s\u00e5 megen energi med samme vingel\u00e6ngde<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Internationalt set blev la Cour mest kendt p\u00e5 sine banebrydende fors\u00f8g med vindm\u00f8llemodeller i sm\u00e5 vindtunneller.
